Overall - Valencia Moto2 test times.

Overall Moto2 lap times after the third and final day of the first official test session for the new 600cc grand prix class, held at Valencia in Spain.

Some riders chose to sit out Wednesday's final day due to poor morning weather and all riders, with the exception of Alex de Angelis, set their best lap time on either day one or two of the test.

Valencia marked the first time that the teams have used the official Honda-built engine. All riders are using control Dunlop tyres. The next official Moto2 outing will be at Jerez from March 6-8...

If this was a support class for up and coming riders at a national championship, then the situation would be acceptable maybe even commendable. But this is supposed to be the number 2 class of motorcycle racing in the world, this is GP racing, this is what in the past has given us the likes of Bill Ivy, Kork Ballington, Walter Villa, Toni Mang, Carlos Cardus, Loris Regianni, and many other legendary riders who made their reputation on mid-sized machinery. And now what, their successors are on something little better than a streetbike! A disgrace beyond description!

Well spoken wosideg You dont turn up at the first official test of the Moto2 class and smash lap records set by factory bikes that have had years of development. Your comparing a controlled, bulletproof 600cc motor to a highly strung WSS motor that has internals lasting no more than a couple of sessions. Some of you people need to do a few races yourselfs to get an idea of what its about. Slagging Honda of because they didnt beat the times of a GP250 is quite frankly stupid.
