Moto2: Coghlan gets place at British Grand Prix

Coghlan, the 2009 European and Spanish Supersport champion, has been based in Spain for the last few seasons and currently races for the Joe Darcy Monlau team - run by former 125cc world champion Emilio Alzamora - in the Spanish Moto2 Championship.

The Scot, who rides a British built FTR chassis, recently took his first Moto2 victory after prevailing in a two-part race at Albacete.

Coghlan's team are offering a limited number of VIP tickets for the Silverstone round and anyone interested should call 0191 406 6260. Any companies wishing to help sponsor Coghlan can do so by logging onto www.moto2racing.co.uk

Scott Redding is the only full time British rider in the inaugural 2010 Moto2 World Championship.
