Rossi set for another Superbike test

Rossi will ride James Toseland's Yamaha R1 at Brno as the Sachsenring event looms in just four days time.
Valentino Rossi will come closer to deciding whether to race in this week's German Grand Prix after arranging a second Superbike test at Brno.

Rossi returned to testing action last week aboard the Yamaha R1 at Misano just a month after breaking his leg in an accident during the Italian Grand Prix.

Setting a best lap of 1min 38.2secs, the Italian admitted he is still lacks fitness, but is eager to get back to competition sooner rather than later.

Naming the Sachsenring as the venue for a potential return in less than a week's time, Rossi will undergo another test at Brno today [Monday] to give him a better idea of whether to target Germany or wait until the Czech event in just over a month's time.

Rossi is just testing his fitness and nothing else, this isn't some sort of superbike test.If the rules were like they used to be then he'd be able to ride his own race bike but he isn't allowed to,so he's therefore testing the closest thing to it which is the R1 WSB.I think Rossi should do a full year or two of WSB after his moto gp career, bugger F1.Even Rossi couldn't make that interesting.
