MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi will finally announce his plans for the 2011 season on Sunday at Brno, the Italian has confirmed.

Rossi is expected to leave Yamaha for Ducati, but has so far refused to officially comment - instead stating that all will be revealed 'at Brno', venue for this weekend's Czech Republic Grand Prix and also a post-race test session on Monday.

The exact time frame of Rossi's announcement has now been narrowed down to race day.

"An announcement about 2011 will be made after the race on Sunday," stated the Italian, speaking during the pre-event press conference on Thursday.

Rossi took his very first grand prix victory at Brno in 1996, and he arrives for the 2010 race off the back of a podium finish at Laguna Seca - which was only his second race back from a broken leg.

A two-weekend summer break has given the reigning seven time MotoGP champion more time to heal, but he is still not back to full fitness.

"The break has helped a little bit with the injuries," declared Rossi. "I feel better than I did at Laguna and both the leg and the shoulder have improved. I have more power in both now, but I'm still not 100%."
