You give thumbs up to Rossi's Ducati move

Almost 80 per cent of you think Rossi is doing the right thing by teaming up with Ducati for the next two years.
An overwhelming majority of Crash.net readers have backed Valentino Rossi's decision to join Ducati in 2011 as he prepares for a new chapter to his illustrious MotoGP career.

Rossi ended months of speculation by confirming he would team up with the Italian manufacturer for the next two seasons in a deal that will conclude a hugely successful seven-year tenure with Yamaha.

Indeed, Rossi's future has long been the subject of rumour, the Italian expressing his interests as far afield as Formula 1, World Superbikes and in rallying, so we gave you a number of options as to what you think Rossi should have committed to in 2011.

However, with almost 5,500 votes cast, Rossi's move to Ducati, where he will form a dream Italian collaboration, accounts for a substantial 78 per cent of your votes.

Only 11 per cent believe he should have stayed with Yamaha, with whom he was expected to see out his career, while just three per cent think he should have considered a switch to four-wheels in F1.

It's no wonder that VR gets the most votes, do you motorcycle magazines EVER write about anyone else. What will it take to get you motorcycle magazines to run informative articles about the other riders ?, how nice wouldn't it be to read a article about Suzuki, why it's where it is ?, is it because of poor engineering, is the manager a ****** ?, is it because they're using magic square wheels, you see with just a few words I've created interest in another team. How do you expect us to know anything about the other "stars" and their machinery if you don't write about them. In short, take your VR derision and stuff it where the sun doesn't shine...
