Moto2: Coghlan returns to GP action at Aragon

Kev Coghlan will make his second grand prix start of the year in this weekend's Moto2 round at Aragon.

The Scotsman, who is second in the Spanish Moto2 Championship on a Joe Darcey-run FTR, rode from 30th on the grid to 22nd on his world championship Moto2 debut at Silverstone earlier this season.

"Kev and the team have had a really good run by winning the last three Spanish rounds so to grab some points [with fourth at Albacete on Sunday] and stay in contention for the title remains very positive," said FTR's Steve Bones.

"The team are now preparing for this coming weekend's wild-card at Aragon and hopefully Kev can continue his success in Spain this year with a good result and complement the ninth place of FTR wild-card Jason DiSalvo at Indianapolis."

I'm sure Kev and the team will be looking to their first World Championship points after Kev won the Spanish Championship round at Aragon two months ago. Plus, DiSalvo had a brilliant wild card ninth place on the FTR machine at Indianapolis. Best wishes to Kev and the team for the weekend.
