After the three flyaway races, Valentino Rossi will decide whether to continue until the end of his final season with Yamaha, or withdraw from the last two rounds and head for early surgery on his injured shoulder.
Rossi damaged the shoulder in a motocross accident shortly after winning the opening round of the year, at Qatar in April.
The outgoing seven time MotoGP champion has not won a race since and now considers the shoulder to be a bigger problem than the leg he broke at round four.
It would be a sad end to Rossi's Yamaha career if he can't even show up for his last two M1 races, but on the other hand The Doctor has one eye firmly on his future with Ducati and wants to be fully fit for his new challenge.
Former 500cc world champion Wayne Gardner has given his opinion (click here
), but what do you think?
There are three options for you to chose:
1) Rossi should have surgery now.
2) Rossi should have surgery after the three flyaways.
3) Rossi should ride to the end of the season.
