Tuesday 2pm MotoGP test times - Valencia

Valencia MotoGP test lap times as of 2pm on Tuesday (day one of two).
Following Sunday's season-ending Valencia Grand Prix, a MotoGP test session began at the circuit on Tuesday.

A wet track prevented any action for the first two hours of testing, but conditions improved and Valentino Rossi was able to make his Ducati debut (on slick tyres) at 12:20 local time.

All others, except world champion Jorge Lorenzo and Ducati's Nicky Hayden, have now been on track.

That means 2007 world champion Casey Stoner has made his factory Honda debut, while rookies Cal Crutchlow and Karel Abraham have also been out.

small point for all the people slaggin Karel Abraham off to consider, he's only done 3 laps so far, he hasn't actually done a proper timed run, give the guy a chance before you start making stupid judgements

Don't get too exited about any of the times today or tomorrow. They don't mean nowt! You don't know who is testing what, and who is really trying or who is just getting used to a new part or bike/setup/team etc. The only time we'll know anything for certain is when the flag drops for the first race of 2011. Colin Edwards is tradiationally the 'winter world champion' but it never means much when the season stats :)
