Abu Dhabi to make MotoGP debut in 1000cc era?

"We are working on [MotoGP] for 2012"
Abu Dhabi's lavish Yas Marina Circuit, which hosted the final round of the F1 season on Sunday, plans to join the MotoGP calendar in the near future.

“We are working on [MotoGP] for 2012," Richard Cregan, Chief Executive Officer of Yas Marina Circuit, told emirates247.com.

"It's not confirmed yet, but we are working on that with MotoGP. The circuit may have to have some work on the curves but this is normal."

Abu Dhabi stages the only twilight race in F1, starting just before sunset on a naturally lit track, before finishing under floodlights.

Qatar, MotoGP's only night race, is presently the only motorcycle grand prix event held in the Middle East.

This is the second time you mentioned that Motogp should add another Spanish gp to it's calender, Motogp already got 3 Spanish Gp's It's time for something new. I'm happy to hear that Abu Dhabi wants to join the Motogp, no doubt that they will increase the run offs. Personally I also like the Shanghai and Istanbul circuit, those 2 circuits where of the chain and It's a shame that Motogp isn't hosting no more gp's over there, the fact why Dorna scrapped them of the calendar is completely understandable ! Imagine Motogp running between sunset and evening, can't wait already !
