Moto2: Smith says sorry after crash

Bradley Smith says sorry to Tech 3 boss Herve Poncharal after big crash destroys bike.
2011 Moto2 rookie Bradley Smith emerged unharmed from a big accident in wet testing at Catalunya last week, but his Tech 3 motorcycle wasn't so fortunate.

The Englishman, a winner on his final 125cc appearance in last month's Valencia season finale, had just switched to the Catalunya circuit after a cold day at Aragon.

“Had a big crash this morning and managed to bend the bike up pretty badly. 'Sorry Mr. Poncharal' and to my team,” Smith wrote on his Twitter page @bradleysmith38.

“Salvaged something from the day by riding the 2011 bike and setting some quick laps in the rain. Roll on Feb. 10th” Smith added.
