Jonathan Rea gets MotoGP chance
Jonathan Rea is to make his MotoGP debut on Tuesday during a test session for Honda.

The Ulsterman, who finished fourth in this year's World Superbike championship for Ten Kate Honda, has been invited to help HRC in a private test at Sepang in Malaysia.

"First day of MotoGP test at Sepang tomorrow. Got my riding position sorted today. Let's hope the weather holds up," Rea, a six-time WSBK race winner, wrote on his Twitter page earlier today (Monday).

Official MotoGP race riders are unable to test until the next official outing at Sepang in February, but Rea - like other non-race riders - has no such restrictions.

Rea was lined up to make a MotoGP race debut for Team Roberts at Donington Park in 2007, but his packed schedule - BSB and the Suzuka 8 Hours - meant it was called off.
