Pedrosa continues recovery

Dani Pedrosa ready for next step in recovery from collarbone injury.
Dani Pedrosa, who finished second in the 2010 MotoGP World Championship despite missing three of the last five races due to a fractured collarbone, has been told he will be able to resume training in January.

Pedrosa, who required surgery after his collarbone broke in two places when the throttle on his Repsol Honda stuck open during practice at Motegi, struggled with numbness and a lack of strength after returning for the last two races.

That prompted fears that further surgery may be needed, but doctors decided that was not necessary and have now told the Spaniard he can start training in January.

Pedrosa will then have one month to raise his physical condition before the first MotoGP test of 2011 is held at Sepang in Malaysia from February 1-3.

I am not a big Pedrosa fan, but one has to admire the guy's determination and guts. This is what he does for a living and he hangs it all out there. Yet still he comes back as a contender.
