Moto2: Noyes to BQR?

Kenny Noyes finds new 2011 Moto2 seat with BQR?
Kenny Noyes, who lost his planned 2011 Moto2 ride when the Antonio Banderas team withdrew due to the loss of Jack&Jones sponsorship, looks to have found an alternative ride.

Just after Christmas the American, who led his second ever grand prix last year and took pole at his third, wrote on his Twitter page: “Looks like I'll be on a good team in Moto2 [this year]”, but refrained from identifying the team, explaining in a later post: “don't want to mess it up, but its a good bike.”

According to, the new Noyes ride, which should be confirmed at any moment, is on an FTR motorcycle run by BQR Racing, with backing from Fogi Racing and GP Tech.

Fogi Racing, GP Tech and FTR joined forces for a wild-card entry in last year's Indianapolis Moto2 event, where rider Jason Di Salvo finished a competitive ninth.

Noyes is set to ride alongside Columbian Yonny Hernandez and Esteve Rabat at BQR.

Noyes' planned 2011 Jack&Jones team-mate Gabor Talmacsi is yet to find an alternative seat and is considering a switch to WSBK. The Hungarian recently tested a Kawasaki at Sepang.

The Banderas team had intended to switch from a Promoharris to Suter chassis this season, after struggling to keep pace as the 2010 Moto2 season progressed.

Heard this a couple of days ago. Thought they were dropping Rabat or Hernandez, but appears they the two parties have enought money to run a 3rd bike. :) good luck to all 3 riders. Hope Kenny can show his true potential this season!
