After finishing an encouraging sixth and eighth on the opening days of MotoGP testing at Sepang, Rizla Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista was forced to abandon the final day after twice being sick.

"Alvaro did an out-lap this morning and threw up in his helmet. He came in, then threw up again in the garage," team manager Paul Denning told Crash.net.

"I don't know if it was heatstroke - he did 60 odd laps yesterday - or just an illness.

"He's okay. He went back to the hotel, but must have been quite poorly as he couldn't sleep."

Bautista returned to Sepang to see the Suzuki team in the afternoon, prior to leaving Malaysia.

"We've done a lot of work with Nobu [Aoki, test rider] instead today," continued Denning. "Generally the test has gone very well for Alvaro and we're quite happy."

Bautista will next be on track, alongside his rivals, during the second Sepang MotoGP test from February 22-24.
