Moto2: Weather continues to affect testing

The second day of testing at Estoril is once more hampered by poor weather conditions.
The second round of the Moto2 testing at Estoril continues to be badly affected by poor weather conditions as rain consigned several riders to the pit lane on day two of action.

With a damp circuit creating problems on day one, it was hoped the second day would bring greater luck to both the Moto2 and 125cc riders.

However, cool conditions ensured the circuit was wet when the pit lane reopened, while intermittent rainfalls over the course of the day meant many – including Marc Marquez – simply chose not to venture out.

Only Randy Krummenacher put in a significant amount of laps, while some riders did take the opportunity to get some wet weather testing under their belts in the afternoon. However, no representative running took place, with Krummenacher, Bradley Smith, Aleix Espargaró, Dominique Aegerter and Max Neukirchner all suffering tumbles.

One more day of testing is scheduled, though the forecast is for cool temperatures and further rain.
