The Aspar Team has publicly unveiled the bikes it hopes will help them achieve significant success across all three grand prix classes in 2011.

Unique in being the only outfit to be participating in MotoGP, Moto2 and 125GP, Aspar is setting its sights on triumphing in the two feeder categories, as well as striving for top 'satellite' status in the premier class.

Hector Barbera will once again ride the team's sole Ducati, the Spaniard swapping his distinctive yellow overalls in favour of a more corporate red and white following Mapfre's decision to sponsor both Aspar's MotoGP and Moto2 effort.

Together with Javier Simon and Xavi Fores fronting the Moto2 team and Nico Terol, Hector Faubel and Adrian Martin charged with 125GP glory, team manager Jorge Martinez is confident the Aspar name will be very prominent in 2011.

"I'm very proud that for the second year running the Aspar Team will have a structure that sees us compete in all three World Championship categories," he said. "It's an exceptional challenge and involves a team who are working fantastically. We are constantly working to take this project forward. Seeing as the team is working so well, and in both the 125cc and Moto2 categories, the aim is clearly to go for both titles.

"In MotoGP we now have a year's experience, and I hope we can finish regularly in the top ten, even in the top five in some races. This year we are also running a completely Spanish team, practically all Valencian, and it's an honour for me to be able to work with Spanish riders with such great potential."

Having finished his rookie MotoGP campaign in 12th overall after eight forays into the top ten, Barbera is looking forward to getting the new season started.

"After riding the finalised version of the bike I'll ride this season, the only thing I'm thinking about is going to Qatar and starting to race. We still have two days of testing left from which I hope to take the maximum, in order to be ready for the first race. The team's working around the clock to do this, and at the moment things are going well for us."
