Dell'Orto wins Moto3 ECU contract.
Moto3 ECU supplier named
The Permanent Bureau of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix has named Dell'Orto as the single ECU supplier for the Moto3 class from 2012 until 2014.

The decision was “based upon the analysis being carried out by the Technical Director and the Director of Technology on the different options and proposals received.”

The Permanent Bureau is composed of Vito Ippolito, FIM President, and Carmelo Ezpeleta, Chief Executive Officer of Dorna Sports.

Moto3, which will consist of 250cc four-stroke motorcycles, is to replace the 125cc World Championship from 2012.

Would love to get some tech specs to see what kinda power figures and performance we can be expecting from these little monsters!

Comparison with 125 would be interesting as well.
