Nico Terol completed an awesome sweep of the three 125cc free practice sessions, ahead of Sunday's Qatar season-opener.
The Aspar Aprilia rider, title runner-up to Marc Marquez last season, has finished each practice with a huge advantage of 0.994sec, 1.016sec and 0.931sec respectively.
Closest to Terol in Friday's session was Ajo Derbi rider Efren Vasquez, with Racing Team Germany Aprilia rider Sandro Cortese two tenths further back in third place.
Sergio Gadea took fourth on the Paris Hilton-backed bike, with Jonas Folger fifth for Ajo Aprilia and rookie Miguel Oliveira sixth, despite two falls from his Andalucia Aprilia.
Terol's team-mate Hector Faubel also fell, in the final seconds of this evening, leaving him in seventh place.
This was the only track session for the 125cc riders on Friday. Qualifying and (controversially) the warm-up will be held on Saturday, then the race on Sunday.
