It appears that the hostilities between Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi, which flared-up after the Italian brought down the Australian in round two at Jerez, continued during the recent Estoril test.
Just when the Jerez incident looked to be dying down, Rossi and Stoner exchanged further harsh words in the press after Stoner accused the #46 of trying to follow him in practice at Estoril.
And now another incident looks to have occurred between them during the post-race test in Portugal, with Sportmediaset.it
claiming that Stoner waited for Rossi on track before obstructing him.
Rossi has now confirmed that something occurred, but wasn't too upset about it...
"Stoner hindered me a little,” Sportmediaset.it
reports Rossi as saying. “I think he did it on purpose, but no big problem. All these disagreements between riders are fun in the end."
Seven time MotoGP champion Rossi and 2007 world champion Stoner will next meet on track during Friday practice for this weekend's French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
