It's a record that Dani Pedrosa won't want to hold for long, but the Repsol Honda rider's latest victory means he has now joined Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola as the most successful rider without a 500cc/MotoGP title.

Pedrosa and former premier-class stars Mamola and Biaggi have all won an 'unlucky' 13 races.

But Pedrosa's form and improved fitness means the Spaniard should soon add to that tally - and, having moved within four points of title leader Jorge Lorenzo, could well remove himself from the 'best bridesmaid' list at the end of the year.

Joint fourth on the list are Loris Capirossi and Sete Gibernau, with nine premier-class wins.
