Casey Stoner has completed a clean sweep of Friday's MotoGP practice sessions after an opening day of changeable weather in Catalunya.

Afternoon practice saw the reverse of this morning's weather, when light rain had arrived at the midway point of FP1. Instead, FP2 began on a slowly drying track after a rain shower during the previous 125cc session.

With track conditions in-between slick and wet tyres, title leaders Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo were among those who chose to sit out the early part of the afternoon.
