Repsol Honda has confirmed it will not replace Dani Pedrosa for this weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, instead choosing to concentrate on Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso.

Having persevered with a two-man line-up at the Catalunya Grand Prix, there were rumours that Repsol Honda were considering a replacement rider for Silverstone should Pedrosa not be in a position to return.

However, although Pedrosa has since ruled himself out of the British Grand Prix, Repsol Honda will not replace him, scuppering rumours that they were going to promote Gresini Honda rider Hiroshi Aoyama for the event.
