Sunday's Italian Grand Prix at Mugello saw close racing over all three classes, with wins for Jorge Lorenzo (MotoGP), Marc Marquez (Moto2) and Nico Terol (125).
All three Spaniards worked hard for their victories.
Yamaha's reigning world champion Lorenzo caught and passed the Repsol Hondas of Andrea Dovizioso and Casey Stoner for a memorable first dry victory of the year.
Moto2 rookie Marquez just held off Moto2 title leader Stefan Bradl for his third win of the season, while Terol made a perfectly-timed pass on Johann Zarco to snatch a last-gasp 125cc victory on his return from a hand injury.
Dovizioso may not have won, but he was the top Honda rider for the first time this year - and the only Italian on the podium in any class.
Tech 3's Moto2 rookie Bradley Smith also produced a highly praiseworthy ride to take his third podium in a row, and first in the dry, during the 600cc race.
