125: Terol leads heading into second half of season

"The objective now is to make life even harder for my closest rivals" - Nico Terol.
Nico Terol starts the last eight races, of the last 125cc World Championship, with a 32 point lead over Johann Zarco.

Aspar Aprilia star Terol has won five of the nine races so far, but skipped Assen due to a hand injury and finished off the podium for the first time in a dry race this year with fourth at the Sachsenring, just before the summer break.

The experienced Spaniard aims to reassert his authority with a third win in a row at Brno this weekend.

"The summer break has given me a chance for my hand to recover further and for me to disconnect from everything a little," said Terol. "I have enjoyed my holidays but I've also been training hard and I am more than ready for the next round.

"Hopefully we can pick up in a positive way for the second part of the season because even though I wasn't happy with the performance in Germany we came away with some good points and the objective now is to make life even harder for my closest rivals.

"I love Brno and I always have a great feeling riding there. I have won for the past two years so I will be giving everything from Friday to keep that run going."

Maverick Vinales (Paris Hilton Aprilia), Jonas Folger (Ajo Aprilia) and Terol's team-mate Hector Faubel.
