Alvaro Bautista was honest about what the return of John Hopkins to the Rizla Suzuki team for this weekend's Czech Republic Grand Prix means for him personally.
"It will be good for me if he is slower. But if he is faster I am in trouble!" smiled Bautista on Thursday.
"Anyway, for sure it is good for the team. Two bikes on the track will be good for TV and also help us to test things, because in some races we cannot test everything we want with just one rider. You just don't have enough time."
Hopkins, who finished fourth in the 2007 MotoGP Championship for Suzuki, took tenth place - while riding in place of the injured Bautista - at Jerez this year.
The American is currently second in the British Superbike Championship but has made no secret of his intention to secure a full time MotoGP return. Hopkins was forced out of MotoGP when Kawasaki withdrew at the end of 2008.
