PICS: Four riders out at first turn of Valencia race

First turn pile-up takes Alvaro Bautista, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden and Randy de Puniet out of the Valencia MotoGP race.
This is the first turn accident that ended with four riders down and out in Sunday's Valencia MotoGP season finale.

The incident was triggered by contact between Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista and Repsol Honda's Andrea Dovizioso. Bautista then fell and collected Ducati riders Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden and Randy de Puniet.

Thankfully, all were unharmed.

I was worried that one of them would have been badly injured especially Rossi because I initially thought he was caught up with all the bikes. They are the four luckless riders on the grid this season... if it wasn't for bad luck they wouldn't have any luck at all. Rossi has had about 10 seasons worth of bad luck this year and hopefully it'll all change next season with some good luck and a better bike and Nicky too. I'm glad that all four are ok it looked like it could have been a really bad crash. I'm glad that those 800's are finally gone and hopefully 2012 will be better and a lot closer with hopefully #46 challenging #27 & #99.

Glad all riders are ok..Shame cos it looked like Rossi and Hayden were in good form...Hard year for Vale hes given it 110% and still has the skills and motivation to be on top...Just hope they can sort bike out for next year and he will once again be the one to beat. This year Stoner has been a worthy Champ. This year the Hondas were far superior machines, solid and quick. My thanks to all the GP riders for giving it your all. R.I.P. Marco you will never be forgotten..Bazo
