Bradl gets MotoGP ride at Valencia test

Moto2 world champion Stefan Bradl to ride an 800cc Honda MotoGP bike on Tuesday.
Newly crowned Moto2 world champion Stefan Bradl will ride an 800cc Honda RC212V on Tuesday at Valencia.

The ride, which will be with the LCR Honda team, is "a gift from HRC for winning the Moto2 Championship".

HRC also planned to let title runner-up Marc Marquez ride an RC212V, but the Spaniard is unable to do so due to his injuries from Sepang.

Bradl (Kalex) and Marquez (Suter) were both linked to a 2012 MotoGP ride earlier in the year, but now plan to stay in Moto2 next season.

LCR Honda, which has parted ways with Toni Elias after a difficult season, says it will make a decision on its 2012 RC213V (1000cc) MotoGP rider "in a few days".

Bradl and Marquez should both be teammates at Gresini Honda next year. It will be like an Fernando Alonso/ Lewis Hamilton feud. Now that would be interesting.

@bjr, Idiotic arguments you and all you other Bradl haters have spouted. What makes you so special to whine about what man deserves what and who shouldn't have what they have? Bradl rode at the front nearly the entire season and he fought to win his championship. Any champion in any sport can have their victories picked apart by any nitpicking douche using flawed jealous hindsight logic.A few of these guys never left the track walking over the past few years to entertain us and all you look for is something to hate on.
