German MotoGP round to remain at Sachsenring?
Despite earlier doubts, the German round of the MotoGP World Championship looks set to continue at the Sachsenring.

The provisional 2012 calendar listed the German venue as 'To Be Confirmed', with the Sachsenring Circuit - which boasts some of the highest attendance figures of the season - reportedly unable to afford the hosting fee.

However a short statement on the circuit's website suggests that an agreement has now been reached between the ADAC, state of Saxony and Dorna. No statement has yet been made by Dorna.

Moto2 world champion Stefan Bradl is stepping up to MotoGP with LCR Honda next season, giving German fans a home MotoGP rider to support for the first time since Alex Hofmann in 2007.
