With the 2012 Moto2 grid still a long way from being finalised, the latest story from the Spanish media is that Mattia Pasini is in talks with Stop & Go Racing to ride a Suter in Moto2.
After the departure of both 2011 SAG riders, Ratthapark Wilairot and Santiago Hernandez, then the signing of Angel Rodriguez for 2012, this is the first news about who might complete the team's line-up.
El Blog Del Mundial de Motociclismo
reports that the Italian is seeking the necessary financial support and hopes to be testing in February at Valencia.
If the deal is concluded, both parties will be looking for big improvements over the 2011 season, in which Pasini, who has 10 grand prix victories in 125s and 250s to his name, scored 28 championship points with Ioda Racing and SAG picked up just four points from Wilairot's 12th place in Jerez.
