The three-day test is the first of 2012 and marks the public debut of the new version of the Ducati Desmosedici GP12.

All twelve manufacturer riders are present for the three-day test, plus the Forward Racing and BQR 'Claiming Rule Team' teams.

The test marks the first time that the new version of the Ducati GP12 has been seen in public and the first time that Casey Stoner has ridden with a #1 plate on his Repsol Honda.
