Moto2: Marc Marquez delays 2012 debut

Moto2 title runner-up Marc Marquez delays his return to action.
Moto2 World Championship runner-up Marc Marquez will miss the first test of 2012 at Valencia next week.

The young Spaniard had been hoping to return to action for the first time since his season-ending fall at last October's Malaysian Grand Prix, but has now 'elected to sit out the visit to Valencia in order to continue his recovery from eye surgery'.

The former 125cc world champion underwent surgery in January to correct the double vision problems he has been suffering since the accident.

It is simply taking too long. Looks like either the problem simply could not be solved or they fooked up the surgery. The reason can be that the problem is caused by the hit on the head causing damage to the nerve that controls the eye muscles -the nerve part is the explanation by the doctor-. You can do a lot of stuff with the muscles but the nerve is a problem. Only time will tell.
