Moto2: Three tied at the top after Jerez test
Three riders reported the joint-fastest lap time during the second Moto2 pre-season test of the year, which concluded at Jerez on Saturday evening.

Marc VDS Kalex rider Scott Redding was first to report a 1m 42.2s lap during day two, which was then matched by Italtrans Kalex team-mates Claudio Corti and Takaaki Nakagami on the third and final day.

Behind the Italtrans riders on the Saturday timesheets was the top Suter of Thomas Luthi (Interwetten) and previous Valencia test pace-setter Pol Espargaro (Pons Kalex), who were both 0.2sec slower.

Redding was half-a-second from the top after a slower Saturday, when he and Corti were among numerous riders to fall, leaving the Briton equal on the final-day timesheets with new Avintia Racing (FTR) signing Julian Simon.

Redding's team-mate Mika Kallio, Esteve Rabat (Pons Kalex), Randy Krummenacher (Suter) and Bradley Smith (Tech 3) completed an unofficial Saturday top ten covered by 0.8sec.

The third and final pre-season test will be held aback at Jerez from March 19-21, when the official Moto2 engines will be used and, hopefully, some official timing.

see... this is why CRT or a Moto1 class is going to be awesome, look at the how much exciting racing has come from the Moto2 class, if you want close racing either quit b*tchin about CRT or go watch nascar
