Get your Silverstone Day of Champions tickets from Monday
Tickets for the Silverstone 'Day of Champions', the traditional start to the British MotoGP weekend, will go on sale from Monday 19 March.

For the first time, tickets for the Riders for Health fundraising event will be sold directly by Silverstone through their existing call centre and ticketing facilities, including or by calling 0844 3750 500 from midday on March 19.

The ticketing change has been done to help Riders save money and, with all proceeds going to Riders for Health, will help ensure Day of Champions generates as much money as possible for the organisation's lifesaving work in Africa.

The auction is a popular end to a day that includes stunt shows, live music, interviews and fun. A ride-in, including two laps of the Silverstone circuit, is also available for those with road bikes.

“We would like to thank Silverstone for allowing us to stage Day of Champions again this year, and for their help selling tickets. It will help us to raise a huge amount for our work, helping to make sure health care reaches the people who need it in Africa,” said Andrea Coleman, CEO of Riders for Health.

The Silverstone Day of Champions will be held on Thursday June 14.

Perhaps the paying public should show some charidee towards the riders they don't like by not booing them when they ate giving up their time for a good cause . Sadly I doubt that'll be the case in the UK judging by past years
