Pedrosa: We've done a good pre-season

“In general, I think we've done a good pre-season” – Dani Pedrosa.
Dani Pedrosa completed a solid - and injury free - pre-season in third place on the Jerez MotoGP test timesheets.

The Spaniard's fastest lap was 0.377sec behind Repsol Honda team-mate Casey Stoner, with Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo separating the factory RC213Vs.

Pedrosa also got a full race distance under his belt, eventually…

“We've been working a lot with the chassis in the morning to prepare the race simulation. But by the time we were ready, we had to stop twice in the box for an issue with the rear brake. Finally, on my third exit, I could make it,” he explained.

“I did the full race distance, 27 laps, and I'm quite satisfied with the result, the lap times were pretty good even though it was very windy in the afternoon, it's also been also good physical training for me.

“In general, I think we've done a good pre-season, we only need to improve a little more on braking and corner entry... It would help us for the first race of the season".

Pedrosa's 15 MotoGP wins make him the most successful rider yet to win a premier-class crown. The former 125 and 250cc world champion made his MotoGP debut, with Repsol Honda, in 2006 and has won races in every season since - finishing as title runner-up on two occasions.

Will 2012 be his year?

Some people may think I have no idea about this sport, but i still think Dani is AS FAST AS Casey. I really think they're on par in terms of talent. I do believe it. Just give the boy a"normal" season, without any injuries.
