Going by these stats, Cal is the only one to significantly improve on a 1000cc.

I'll bet money he will finish the championship 4th above Dovi and Spies

This is an interesting comparison from a rider perspective, but the machines are too new and undeveloped for this to mean much just yet.

We should see a fairer bike to bike comparison when there's at least a year's development of the various chassis/ suspension and handling characteristics, engine electronics and of course, the tyres, which have an effect on all of the aformentioned.
