Ducati to test at Mugello

Ducati MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to test at Mugello later this month.
Following the cancellation of Monday's post-race test at Estoril, due to bad weather, Ducati has announced that factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will take part in a test at Mugello from May 22-24.

That will be from the Tuesday to Thursday following the forthcoming French Grand Prix at Le Mans (May 18-20).

Ducati, which had been due to test a new engine with a softer power delivery at Estoril, confirmed that the lost Portuguese official MotoGP test 'will be made up at a later date'.

The May test will be 'the first of three to be held at Mugello' by Ducati.

Hayden and Rossi are eighth and ninth in the 2012 standings after three rounds with the new aluminium-frame Desmosedici GP12.

Rossi learned halfway through 08 that sitting behind stoner and waiting was never gonna work, which is where Laguna 08 came out of. Lorenzo would want to stop watching stoner ride off and do anything he can to get his bike in front of him even if it means there not all friends anymore :S To many friends and not enough enemies at the top now. If it was Rossi or Sic in front he would of made an effort to take em either way.
