Ducati announces Mugello test for Rossi, Hayden
Following the cancellation of Monday's post-race test at Estoril, due to bad weather, Ducati has announced that factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will take part in a test at Mugello from May 22-24.

That will be from the Tuesday to Thursday following the forthcoming French Grand Prix at Le Mans (May 18-20).

Ducati, which had been due to test a new engine with a softer power delivery at Estoril, confirmed that the lost Portuguese official MotoGP test 'will be made up at a later date'.

The May test will be 'the first of three to be held at Mugello' by Ducati.

Hayden and Rossi are eighth and ninth in the 2012 standings after three rounds with the new aluminium-frame Desmosedici GP12.
