Catalunya MotoGP testing stopped after Crutchlow fall
Monday's post-race MotoGP test at Catalunya has been stopped to clear debris following a heavy accident for Cal Crutchlow.

The Englishman wrote on Twitter:

"Massive massive crash 2nd lap on wet patch under bridge no one could see. 200kph... Took a lot of skin off my arse back and shoulders but am ok ! Went back out as we have a job to do. So sorry to boys as bike was totalled."

Tricky damp conditions at Catalunya this morning had already seen Karel Abraham fall on his out lap.

Crutchlow finished fifth in Sunday's race, when team-mate Andrea Dovizioso claimed Tech 3's first podium of the year.

One or two odd comments on here. Crutchlow went down while in a straight line when he hit a patch of wet track under the bridge in the braking zone into turn 4. It could easily have been any of the riders because the damp patch was hidden under the bridge, and it's a good thing the session was red flagged and the problem spotted before any more guys went down. Nothing more to read into it than bad luck.
