Marco Simoncelli tribute song - Download Now!

The Rainband's single in aid of the Marco Simoncelli Foundation now available for download.
The Rainband, which performed its Marco Simoncelli fundraising single 'Rise Again' during the British MotoGP weekend at Silverstone, has asked us to highlight that the song is now for sale and pass on the download link.

The Rainband was contacted by The Marco Simoncelli Foundation after writing the track and will donate all profits to the foundation.

The Marco Simoncelli Foundation aims to build hospitals around the world for the disabled. The fundraising single is fully supported by Dorna, MotoGP and The Marco Simoncelli Foundation.

Pictured is a Fender guitar signed by the riders which will be auctioned when The Rainband perform in Misano.

I can't believe these comments about the on-going memorial to Marco Simoncelli. OK so you don't give a monkeys, that's fine, you are not obliged to get involved. There are many others who do. A lot of good will come from the money that goes to the Marco Simoncelli foundation and I think it shows an immense amount of courage and dignity from those who loved him the most to do this. Cynicism abounds. As for the 9 month comment - that was just crass.

I totally agree with Jon M and I'm a fan of Simoncelli since his wildcard appereance back in 2002! I think it's enough now. Very nice that all these people are so supportive, but what Jon says is true...many riders have passed in the years before and never there was so much tribute as it is for Simoncelli. It has been 9 months ago now, maybe it's time to let go.
