The race was a turning point in so many ways. Jonny Rea scored his first MotoGP points. Pedrosa's title challenge disappeared. Lady Luck evened out JLo's no-fault non-score. Honda's legendary clockwork efficiency deserted them. Ducati's new frame and swingarm at last made a worthwhile improvement. VR46 showed that he still has what it takes, and confirmed he'll be a contender on the Yam in 2013. Sure, JLo had a runaway win, CRT was grey porrige as usual, but there was heaps of interest in the rest of the (works) field.

Good to see Rossi grab a podium, but that had to be the lamest race I have seen in well, forever quit frankly. Jorge didnt even have to try to win the race, what a joke, Ben Spies never had a chance, and the two satellite Ducatis would have been better off not showing up for the race. At least Rea beat the CRTs.
