Yonny Hernandez is confident he will be declared fit to ride in this weekend's Malaysian MotoGP round at Sepang.

The Blusens Avintia CRT rider dislocated his left collarbone, and took a hard blow on the sole of his right foot, when he fell in last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.

"I hope I'll be able to participate in this GP because I want to carry on fighting for my ranking in the CRTs," said Hernandez, whose position as third best privateer in the world championship standings is now under threat from Gresini's Michele Pirro.

"I am aching all over now but I think I'll be able to ride because actually I don't have any fractures.

"I'll have to wait for Thursday and Friday's medical check at the track, but I am confident the doctors' diagnosis will be positive and I'll be on Sunday's starting grid."
