PICS: New faces in new places at Moto2 test

Moto3 race winner Danny Kent is among the new faces to appear during Moto2 post-season testing at Valencia...
With Marc Marquez preparing for his much anticipated move into MotoGP, the race to succeed him as Moto2 World Champion began in earnest at Valencia with the annual post season finale test.

Beyond the familiar sight of Pol Espargaro on the Pons Kalex, Mika Kallio on the Marc VDS Kalex and Thomas Luthi on the Interwetten Suter, the test was a chance to see several new tie-ups make their debut.

This included Valencia podium winner Julian Simon on the Italtrans Kalex, Johann Zarco trading his JiR Motobi for an Ioda Suter and Gino Rea on a SAG Bimota, while Mattia Pasini and Simone Corsi jumped aboard the NGM Forward Speed Up for the first time.

Elsewhere, Moto3 graduates Danny Kent and Louis Rossi got their first outings on the Tech 3 Mistral, while young British rider Kyle White was also out on the Blusens Avintia Suter.
