When asked about Marc Marquez's impressive
MotoGP debut at Valencia on Wednesday,
Nicky Hayden quipped that the 19-year-old Spaniard "definitely needed another year in Moto2”.
Incredibly, some in the Twittersphere failed to see it as a joke, forcing Hayden to spell it out for them:
“Chill out. I was clearly being sarcastic about Marquez needing another year in Moto2. He is very impressive and obviously belongs in MotoGP.”
