Dani Pedrosa - fastest at the Valencia test - is scheduled to be taking part in a 'Honda Racing Thanks Day' with Marquez in Japan, but will not be joining Marquez on track in Malaysia.
Instead, Pedrosa will next be seen on a
MotoGP bike in February, when official pre-season testing gets underway at the same circuit.
Ducati is also expected to hold a private test, at Jerez, before the start of the winter test ban on December 1, but Yamaha riders
Jorge Lorenzo and
Valentino Rossi are not expected to test again until February.
