Moto3: Vinales on record pace at Almeria

Maverick Vinales on record pace in testing at Almeria
Five time Moto3 race winner Maverick Vinales made a speedy start to his Laglisse/KTM career during his test debut at Almeria.

Laglisse's Pablo Nieto stated that Vinales beat the Moto3 circuit record by half-a-second on day one with the factory spec KTM machinery - then went one-second under the record on day two.

17-year-old Vinales, who has signed for JHK Laglisse after being extracted from his Avintia Blusens (FTR Honda) contract, was testing alongside 15-year-old girl racer Ana Carrasco, set to be his team-mate in 2013.

It's good to see that he got out of his contract with avintia, I wouldn't usually condone his actions but he got shafted by his manager who just happens to be the avintia team boss as well. He should be banned from personal management because he certainly wasn't acting in his clients best interest when he failed to tell vinales about other offers that were being put on the table.
