Casey Stoner back on track - with four-wheels.
Casey Stoner testing V8 Supercar
While Valentino Rossi has been reflecting on one of his most famous MotoGP battles with Casey Stoner, the newly retired Australian is reported to have been testing a V8 Supercar.

Double world champion Stoner, who quit MotoGP at the age of just 27, has long been linked with a switch to the prestigious Australian Touring Car series.

Stoner first drove a V8 Supercar just over a year ago (pictured) and his return to the wheel of a Triple 8 Holden Commodore is seen as further proof of his intentions, although no announcement of any race deal has so far been made.

I like that saying it as it is with, "... Stoner, who quit MotoGP ..." as opposed to "retired"! Because that's what Stoner did, he quit! Doohan retired, Shwantz retired, and even Rainey retired ... but Stoner quit!! :p

Your examples there are a perfect illustration of one of the many reasons he got out.....he is still physically in pretty good condition, sadly of your 3 up there on the pedestal only one could climb up on his own and even he looks like his lower arms & hands have been repeatedly put thro' a mangle.

Retirement is a voluntary thing, I'm not sure any of your 3 retired totally voluntarily....more like 'enforced retirement due to injury'.
