Yuki Takahashi has been confirmed as riding for the new Honda Racing Asia Tady team in the 2013 Moto2 World Championship.
Moto2 winner Takahashi tested a Moriwaki for the squad - headed by former 500cc race winner Tady Okada - at Valencia, but Tady was one of only two teams not to name its rider on the recent provisional entry list.
Takahashi won a Moto2 raced during the inaugural 2010 season for Tech 3, then repeated his two podiums after switching to reigning champion's Gresini (Moriwaki) for 2011.
However a 2012 move to Forward Racing (FTR) produced just two points for Takahashi, who has also previously won two 250cc races and competed in seven MotoGP events.
Okada's team has been specifically set-up to support Japanese riders, now something of a rarity in the grand prix paddock, while 'home' manufacturer Moriwaki is making a comeback after being forced off the 2012 grid.
Former Gresini rider Gino Rea has been linked to the other remaining 'to be confirmed' seat on the 33-rider 2013 Moto2 line-up, at the ESGP (FTR) team.
