I remember the Carl Foggarty era in WSB at Brands Hatch when 130,000 turned up on race day!! Highest attendance for a single day in any sport for that year by a considerable margin. I was there and it was amazing!! Breaks my heart to see the poor attendance at the WSB now. In terms of total attendance, how about the TT? Surly thaere must have been more there than watching rubbish tennis/horses/golf stuff??
