Casey had the ever-consistent Lorenzo again to beat and a now a truly impressive Pedrsa. That turn at Indianapolis claimed a few scalps - and Casey came of worse with the bike landing with enough force to shatter the back wheel. A truly gritty race performance followed in the race, but from then on the championship was realistically gone for Casey. A truly gifted and exciting rider to watch - if not the darling of the media. You'll be missed. Good luck in whatever you do and thanks for the show!
