With his previous Ducati MotoGP contract having now expired, Yamaha has released the first official 2013 photos of Valentino Rossi back with the brand.

The arty shots - featuring both Rossi and reigning double MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo in corporate Yamaha colours - are provided along with a trailer video on the YamahaMotoGP.com website.

They include this shot of Rossi apparently recreating his Welkom 2004 celebration, after winning on his M1 debut.

The official 2013 Factory Yamaha MotoGP race livery is yet to be unveiled.

Rossi won four of his seven MotoGP titles with Yamaha and his most recent race win, at Malaysia in 2010.
